Purpose
This is a tenure track position within the School of Business. Primary expectations include teaching undergraduate and graduate Business Administration courses (as assigned) in both face-to-face and online formats.

Essential Job Functions
- Ability to plan and prepare course content and curriculum, utilizing assessment and effective methodologies of instruction for the enhancement of learning aligned with ACBSP standards.
- Collaborate with other faculty members for the development, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum.
- Provide appropriate classroom and online instruction for students enrolled in business course(s).
- Maintain expertise in the field of study and teaching pedagogy by attending seminars, workshops and classes for self-improvement and/or professional enhancement.
- Desired discipline-specific teaching with a demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness.
- Commitment to the philosophy and outcomes of the School of Business. Maintain professional development activities.
- Maintain positive relationships within the University and in the larger community.
- Provide academic advisement for assigned students to make sure they enroll in the classes they need to graduate.
- Perform research to further understand the field of study.
- Serve on university or department committees as needed.
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience preferred.
- Knowledge and skills related to teaching students in class and online.
- Exceptional interest in teaching business administration and providing mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Teaching experience in methodology, curriculum development, evaluation or willingness to plan for acquisition of these skills no later than the first year of teaching.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
- The ability to teach in a diverse population of students.
- Demonstrated record of outstanding teaching effectiveness (preferred).
- Demonstrated record of high-quality intellectual and scholarly activity (preferred).
- Related industry or consulting experience.
- MBA, MST, DMgt, DBA or PhD in business administration, marketing or a business-related discipline from a regionally accredited institution.
- A satisfactory criminal background check.

- Light sedentary office work.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary: $50000 - $95808.37 per year Seniority level
