Salary: $55,680. (

Job Location:

205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.

• Knowledge and experience with students eligible for special education.
• Coordinate activities to determine student eligibility for placement with MSSD through facilitation and collaboration with Building Leadership.
• Oversee and manage student and staff data for MSSD, utilizing the student information system platform.
• Coordinate collection, reporting, and submission of data for Core Data/MOSIS in a timely manner.
• Remain current on MAP-A requirements, alternative assessment best practices, problem‑solving mitigations, and platform functioning/capabilities, and ensure MSSD staff are registered, trained, assisted, and supported.
• Provide outreach support and information to Local Education Agencies regarding Federal and State requirements for Special Education and programming for students with low incidence disabilities and/or significant cognitive disabilities.
• Serve as the truancy officer for students served by MSSD.

• A minimum of five years of work experience with students in special education, preferably with a background working with individuals with significant disabilities.
• Or a minimum of five years of work experience with data entry, reporting, and communication.
• Or a bachelor’s degree in special education or a closely related field.
