Salary Range: The salary range listed in this job description is a base salary. Applicants eligible for years‑of‑service adjustments or shift differentials may exceed the salary range listed above.

- Acquire and maintain knowledge of federal and state laws, regulations, and policies applicable to school age after school programs and grant‑funded programs.
- Assist with grant‑making processes to include – but not limited to – the development of competitive grant applications and submissions, grant guidance, scoring/review process, and selection and awarding process.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining yearly budget systems to track all sub‑grantee budgets, preparing financial disclosure statements for awards and other budgetary records as needed.
- Receive, review, and process invoices for after school programs on a bi‑monthly basis.
- Assist with research, development, support, and evaluation of various after school programs.
- Provide technical assistance, training, monitoring and risk assessments to support sub‑grantees and contractor implementation, deliverables/requirements, and data collection.
- Update, review, and process sub‑grantees annual reporting for multi‑year grant continuation awards.
- Develop and conduct trainings related to after school programming and grants.
- Attend national, state, regional and local meetings pertaining to after school programs.
- Assist with after school data collection, analysis, and state and/or federal required reporting. This includes gaining and maintaining knowledge of the state and federal data reporting systems as well as the competitive grant application system.
- Assist with maintaining web‑based communication platforms, after school webpages, and creation and dissemination of other marketing strategies for after school programming.
- Participate as a member of the Missouri After School Network to support and assist in the after school program quality improvement initiatives statewide and nationally.
- Coordinate with other programs within the Office of Childhood to improve quality initiatives.
- Assist the After school Program Coordinator and serve as a backup to team members, as needed.
- Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year college or university with a major in education, child development, social/human services, human development, family studies, or other related area.
- Four or more years of professional or technical experience in the field of after school, education; project management or contract/sub‑grant management, and possession of a high school diploma or high school equivalency.
