AboutThe Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Project Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in civil engineering
, with a focus in one or more of the following areas:
Water/Wastewater Infrastructure, Land Development, or Municipal Services
. This role involves technical project leadership, design oversight, and collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects in water/wastewater, land development, or municipal sectors.
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports.
- Oversee and mentor junior engineers, designers, and CAD technicians throughout project phases.
- Conduct site visits, evaluations, and inspections as needed during design and construction.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Support proposal preparation, project budgeting, and business development efforts.
- Stay current with relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience.
- Proven experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Water and wastewater systems
- Land development
- Municipal engineering (streets, drainage, utilities, capital improvement projects, etc)
- Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
- Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Salary range: $65,000–$90,000 per year, with comprehensive health benefits, PTO, and holiday pay. Starting pay will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
