We are actively seeking a Reliability Engineer to join our factory located in Jefferson City, Missouri. The incumbent will drive critical improvements and eliminate losses from a technical perspective. The role is a key contributor to stabilizing the reliability of the production lines in a factory in order to transition from reactive to proactive, supporting the development of technical teams and launching of semi‑autonomous teams.
Key Responsibilities- Critical to our factories’ journey to World Class, pursuing zero defects, zero waste, and zero losses.
- Apply focused and quality‑improvement methods and tools to counter losses identified in Safety, Quality, Cost Deployment, Customer Service, and Logistics.
- Populate the Cost Deployment pillar with data built through the Managing Manufacturing Performance Code, ensuring focus on key losses.
- Work directly with line crews, act as a technical trainer, and coach in phenomena identification, root‑cause analysis, and establishing counter‑measures.
- Validate all process improvements and establish revised basic conditions on the line, eliminating losses and increasing stability to support transition to semi‑autonomous teams.
- Eliminate waste and loss according to the UMS prioritization process using AM, PM, FI, and PD pillar tools and methodologies.
- Create Technical Standards ensuring process stability on the line.
- Train line crews on technical standards and restoration of basic conditions (stability sustainability).
- Identify and extend best practice to other lines.
- Maintain accuracy of MMP Code data.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (mechanical, chemical, electrical engineering, etc.).
- 0–2 years of combined engineering experience.
- Experience with statistical and process‑control tools.
- Experience with AM, PM, FI, PD, Quality, and Logistics methods and tools.
- 2+ years of continuous‑improvement experience.
- 2+ years FMCG/CPG industry experience.
- 2+ years supporting transformation/Cap Ex projects.
- Additional qualifications matching or exceeding the required ones.
Pay range: $69,360 to $104,040. Bonus eligible.
Long‑Term Incentive (LTI) eligible.
