Job Description:
Join a dynamic, collaborative team responsible for managing employer-sponsored retirement plans serviced by RPA. In this role, you will oversee managed accounts, coordinate trading and reporting activities, maintain investment menus, and ensure data accuracy across recordkeepers.
You will work closely with internal teams, our Investment Committee, and RPA’s financial professionals to deliver high-quality service and operational excellence. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Trading Operations & Execution
- Lead managed account menu updates, group trading activities, and reporting for group plan managed accounts; serve as backup for the individual wealth management program
- Execute a full range of trades, including mutual funds, ETFs, fixed income, equities, and UITs, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
- Collaborate with RPA’s Managed Asset Trading Coordinator, the Investment Committee, and plan recordkeepers to oversee trading, reporting, and quality control for employer-sponsored retirement plans and individual wealth asset platforms
Reconciliation & Oversight
- Review and analyze reports to identify and address transactions requiring action
- Maintain accurate records of trades, reconciliations, and model portfolio updates
- Monitor accounts for alignment with assigned models and proactively resolve discrepancies
Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Conduct ongoing quality control and reconciliation with plan recordkeepers to ensure data integrity and consistency across platforms
- Provide excellent service to internal teams, management, and financial professionals by supplying information, tracking open issues, and ensuring timely resolution
- Partner with the Vice President of Operations and other team members to support operational initiatives and perform additional duties as needed
Qualifications &
Experience:
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to take to direction and work independently, able to balance multiple priorities and deadlines, and comfortable in an unstructured work environment. Key skills and qualifications include:
- Two or more years of related work experience
- College degree preferred
- Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 license preferred
- Solid Microsoft Office suite skills, particularly in Excel
- Comfortable with web-based software platforms
- Salesforce experience preferred
- VERY detail oriented
- Ability to accurately follow verbal and written communications
- Ability to communicate effectively with advisors and associates in a professional and courteous manner and to express ideas clearly both in written and oral communications
- Read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures, and industry regulations
- Ability to identify potential issues and propose solutions

Compensation: Competitive salary + bonus structure, range commensurate with experience; range of $45,000 - $60,000
