As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring adherence to program expectations, participating in treatment planning, assisting with daily activities, facilitating groups, providing transportation, and creating a safe and supportive environment.

* Key Responsibilities:

* General Responsibilities:

* * Encourage clients to adhere to program expectations and rules   
* Participate in treatment teams and document client progress   
* Facilitate group sessions and educational programs   
* Provide transportation and support daily activities as needed   
* Maintain a safe and clean environment, report maintenance issues, and adhere to program policies and procedures    
** Residential Facility:
*** Admit, supervise, monitor, transfer, and discharge clients/patients   
* Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and medication administration   
* Assist with personal care (e.g. grooming, bathing, dressing) as needed   
* Ensure client safety and supervision, including regular checks   
* Facilitate client participation in program activities and services    
** Residential Care Facility (RCF):
*** Assist with personal care (e.g. grooming, bathing, dressing) as needed   
* Monitor vital signs and medication administration   
* Ensure client safety and supervision, including regular checks   
* Facilitate client participation in program activities and services   
* Assist with admission and discharge processes    
** Withdrawal Management:
*** Monitor clients for signs and symptoms of withdrawal   
* Ensure safe and effective management of withdrawal symptoms   
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor effects   
* Provide support and encouragement throughout the withdrawal process   
** Education and/or Experience

Qualifications:

*** High School education OR equivalent and two (2) years responsible employment
* Experience in Human Services or related field preferred
** Required License/Certification:
*** Within the first ninety (90) days in position (for Residential Care Facility):
Become credentialed as a Level 1 Med Aid (LIMA) and be Insulin Certified .
