** Join our dedicated team as a Youth Community Support Specialist, where you will provide essential services to individuals and their families as they adapt to living in their communities.

Your contributions will help ensure that youth and their families receive the timely support and resources they need to thrive.
As a Youth Community Support Specialist, you will be responsible for creating personalized plans that address the specific needs of your clients. You will utilize evidence-based techniques and collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive mental health services.

* Key Responsibilities:
*** Provide community-based mental health services to children, adolescents, and/or adults, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention implementation.
* Collaborate with clients, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the client's specific needs and goals.
* Utilize a strengths-based approach that emphasizes empowerment, skill-building, and resilience, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Positive Reinforcement Techniques, Trauma-Informed Strategies, and skills based in CBT and DBT approaches.
* Provide behavioral interventions, including motivational interviewing, operant conditioning, interpersonal and group dynamics, cognitive processing, and other evidence-based interventions.
* Coordinate care with other service providers, including primary care physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations.
** Education, Experience, and/or Credential
Qualifications:
*** Bachelor’s Degree in a behavioral health or related field, or relevant experience in a behavioral health setting.
* Prior experience working with youth and families in a community support or mental health capacity.
*
* Additional Qualifications:
*** Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
* Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
*
* Physical Requirements:
*** Sedentary work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
* Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shifts.
* Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
