Clinical Nutrition Manager II ation: SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, Jefferson City, MO.
We’re seeking a Clinical Nutrition Manager to provide leadership at a 154‑bed full service, community hospital. The role involves direct management of three Registered Dietitians and steering clinical programs for patient care while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Drive results and build cohesive teams.
- Provide direct patient care as needed.
- Maintain a strong focus on patient satisfaction and collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff.

- Master’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
- For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor’s degree with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND. - Eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and registration within 120 days of hire; RD/RDN credentials may be required at time of hire.
- State licensure as required by the state(s) of practice.
- At least 13 months of management experience supervising and directing people and resources to achieve specific results within limited time frames.
- Minimum of 3 years of functional experience as an experienced practitioner capable of working unsupervised and providing professional supervision to developing practitioners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time‑management, team‑player attitude, and flexibility.
