This position will be a Central Office position with DORS but does not require the individual to be domiciled in Central Office in Jefferson City. However, it will be required that the individual selected be able to travel to Central Office as necessary for various meetings and other job requirements as identified. Some travel, including occasional overnight travel, is required.

• Overall management and oversight of correctional mental health services for Missouri Department of Corrections facilities.
• Audit mental health services for contractual and clinical compliance.
• Work with site and regional staff to improve behavioral health operations.
• Serve on departmental teams and committees as assigned.
• Communicate with family members and other constituents, site administration, and outside stakeholders as needed.
• Assist with planning and policy development for the department's behavioral health services and other programming.

• Missouri licensed behavioral health professional.
• A master’s degree or higher.
• Five or more years of experience in behavioral health services.
• Experience may be a combination of clinical, administrative, and management duties.
• Correctional experience is preferred but not required.

• $2.00 per hour shift differential if you are assigned to a shift that begins on or between 12:00 pm (noon) and 5:00 am and are employed at a 24/7 congregate care facility (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center).
• $0.75 per hour maximum security stipend if you work full‑time at a qualifying facility.
• $1.00 per hour restrictive housing stipend if you are assigned a regular post within a restrictive housing/segregation unit at any facility.
