What you’ll do
- You should be familiar with both core cloud services architecture and strong security background.
We need someone who can go deep—ideally, someone who has worked in Identity or Crypto areas as an architect/Principal Engineer at a major Hyperscaler. This experience is relevant because it involves understanding security in the context of large-scale cloud services. We need someone comfortable moving across all these areas, going broad as well as deep into specific areas, and ensuring we make the right decisions as we rearchitect and transform some of these services from legacy systems to new ones.
We must keep up with the growth in the number of regions, which exposes us to more challenges. There are significant security problems to solve in managing all these regions and realms securely, covering everything from crypto to identity to access and permissions. The goal is to apply the same rigor to security that we do to keeping our system available, thereby improving the overall availability and security of our services.
ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll bring

- Knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, security protocols, and applied cryptography.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
Strong understanding of databases, No
SQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies.
