**** The Opportunity
**** Jefferson City, MO, as a Production Planning Analyst

** How You'll Make an Impact
*** Plan and schedule customer orders to align with delivery dates and production schedules.
* Control production schedules and coordinate material requirements for a smooth flow of approved materials.
* Support local Operations Planners, Master Schedule Planner, and Material Planner.
* Implement planning technology solutions locally.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards and business requirements, promoting customer satisfaction.
* Develop long-term continuous improvement programs with customers, vendors, and transportation groups.
* Evaluate and recommend advanced technologies to achieve operating efficiencies and increase customer satisfaction.
* Provide technical assistance to less experienced staff.
** Your Background
*** Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, with 2-5 years of relevant experience; or Associate's degree in a business or related field with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
* Must have work authorization to permanently work for Hitachi Energy in the US.
* Prior experience in planning and scheduling is preferred.
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
* Prefer SAP experience.
* Strong coordinating skills to manage multiple logistics responsibilities.
