Warehouse Material HandlerThis is a full time position on our 2nd Shift (2:30pm-10:30pm) Monday thru Friday.

PositionSummary
The position is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials around the facility.
Job Duties- Operates forklifts in compliance with company safety regulations and uses RF scanners for receiving, picking, staging, loading, unloading, rotation, and storage of products.
- Implements daily shipping plan.
- Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying space assignments.
- Confirms availability of product to be shipped by verifying inventory records.
- Processes products coming off the production lines and places them in correct areas.
- Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
- Helps prepare for inventory counts.
- Ensures proper driver check‑in and check‑out processes in accordance with SQF standards for incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Conducts daily forklift inspections and follows safe forklift operating procedures.
- Seeks out efficiencies in warehouse operations and makes recommendations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Basic math skills to count products.
- Ability to become forklift certified (company provided).
- Good communication and reading skills.
- Basic computer skills to function in the WMS.
- Attention to detail.
- Critical thinking.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands- Continuously (6 to 10 hours per day) bending, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, reaching, lifting and grasping.
- Continuously (6 to 10 hours per day) standing and walking.
- Continuously (6 or more hours per day) talking, teaching, and repetitive motion, hand/wrist movement.
- Good eyesight, normal hearing.
- Ability to move and lift objects, frequently 75 lbs.
- Frequent (1 to 2 hours) working at a computer terminal.
This is a full‑time position working Monday thru Friday from 2:30pm‑6:30pm. Days and hours of work may vary. Monday through Friday. Occasional evenings and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

RequiredEducation and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
