Overview
We’re hiring 5+ dependable, detail-focused Heavy Industrial Component Technicians to break down and prepare large metal components used in transportation and logistics. This is physically demanding yet steady, hands-on work—lifting, disassembling, loading, and refurbishing heavy parts with industrial equipment to ensure they’re clean and ready for quality checks.
You’ll start in the breakdown and component prep department but quickly cross-train across the shop, building valuable skills and earning a raise with every new skill you master.

- Morning Shift: 5am - 2pm
- $1,000 retention bonus after 90 days (through Laborup)
- $17 - $19 / hr starting

- Load and lift industrial bearing assemblies through a series of operations
- Disassemble used metal components with hydraulic presses and hand tools.
- Run parts through industrial cleaners to prep them for quality inspection.
- Monitor cleanliness and quality before passing components to inspection.
- Adjust and maintain equipment settings for washers
- Handle and move heavy components safely throughout the process.
- Perform routine maintenance on wash and blast equipment.
Basic
- Manufacturing or quality-focused experience preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive or short-cycle work.
- Familiarity with dimensional and visual quality inspection
- Comfortable using hand tools and rotary tools
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Follow written procedures and perform basic math
Physical
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive or short-cycle work.
- Frequent lifting, walking, reaching, pushing, and handling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Moderate twisting and bending.
Environmental
- Loud manufacturing floor
- Exposure to metals, lubricants, and process chemicals
- Seasonal variation in temperature (cold/heat)
