A Float Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in‑center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.

Part‑time, 30‑36 hours per week. Shifts start at 5 am;
Sundays off; no overnight shifts.

Pay ranges from $38 to $41 per hour, depending on dialysis experience.

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
• Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
• Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
• Administer and chart all prescribed medications
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
• Document required patient education efforts
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance
• Lead a small patient care team
• Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
• Additional tasks as requested

• Accredited nursing degree required
• Dialysis experience required
• DCI provides 3‑month comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one‑on‑one skills training
