The PositionIntensive care unit (ICU) staff RNs provide care for patients with life‑threatening medical conditions. These nurses work in the critical care unit of a hospital or healthcare facility, caring for patients who have experienced invasive surgery, accidents, trauma or organ failure.
Responsibilities• Care for ICU patients, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Keep accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Apply evidence‑based practices and adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Minimum of 1 year of current ICU RN experience.
- Valid Missouri State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Group health, dental, vision, life, short‑term and long‑term disability, accident, and critical illness insurance.
