As a Customer Service Associate, you will welcome customers, help them find and select products, occasionally load merchandise, and ensure all customer needs are met. Your daily responsibilities may vary by department (Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Décor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services).

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down‑stock merchandise by locating empty shelf areas and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise on time.
• Cross‑functionally train in other store areas to deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones and tablets).
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Capability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and other necessary activities.
• Ability to lift minimally 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.

• 6 months of retail and/or customer‑service experience.
• Bi‑lingual skills.
• Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn & garden, or lumber/building materials).

This role does not require regular travel; however, occasional travel to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores may be required.

• Work in both inside and outside weather conditions; possible exposure to extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty environments.
• Exposure to constant or intermittent noise and moving or shaking objects and equipment.
• Follow lifting guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 lbs. Team lifts start at 75 lbs or as needed; powered equipment used with proper training.
