CDL B Driver – Atlantic Plywood Corporation

Full‑time truck driver position at Atlantic Plywood Corporation. We are looking for qualified Class B CDL drivers to deliver and pick up products in a safe and courteous manner. Work is primarily local routes with occasional overnight deliveries. Shift: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (Monday–Friday). Weekends off. Pay range: $22.00 / hr – $24.26 / hr.

• Maintain driver logs and complete pre‑trip inspections.
• Follow all corporate operational procedures and QC standards.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Maintain service and appearance of all company vehicles.
• Follow delivery/pickup instructions from Warehouse Manager and/or Sales Manager.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager and/or Sales Manager.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma / GED.
• Valid Commercial Class B Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Current Medical Card.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and use of personal protection equipment (PPE).
• Good organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Ability to start early, work late occasionally as needed.
• Must pass pre‑employment physical, drug test, MVR, and background check upon hire.

• Knowledge of GVWRs, state/federal height/weight maximums, and winch operations.
• OSHA familiarity/training.
• Acceptable DOT drug test history.
• Subject to DOT‑regulated random drug and alcohol testing.

• Previous CDL driving experience.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Flatbed and/or tractor‑trailer experience.
• Experience hauling lumber or other building materials.

• Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when loading and unloading equipment and while securing the load.
• Frequent use of foot/feet.
• Frequent lifting of 50 lbs.; occasional lifting up to 90 lbs.
• Frequent pushing and pulling of truck side‑curtain walls.
• Frequent use of winch & ratchet strap tie‑downs for load securement.
• Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes.
