Responsibilities
Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.Operate a forklift or other equipment to transport materials within the facility.Develop a good knowledge of the company and may be assigned to projects for career development.Learn the principles, practices, and processes in the function or discipline.Develop the business knowledge required for the full job.Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on the level and complexity.Follow defined procedures and practices.Communicate with immediate supervisors and team members.Support business needs by flexing across different products and areas.Perform forklift daily inspections.Accept responsibility for own actions and follow through on commitments.Participate in team meetings and exchange job-related information.Demonstrate attention to detail, attendance, and quality.Operate equipment safely and effectively.Follow safety guidelines and participate in company safety initiatives.Know the basic functions of the ERP system.Assist in training new employees or employees learning new work areas.Participate actively in the Drive to Zero program.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements
- 0-1 years of experience.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment.
- Ability to identify and resolve basic problems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Model positive and professional work ethics.
- Effective communication skills.
Physical Demands
Regularly talk, hear, and manipulate objects or controls. Stand and walk frequently. Occasionally stoop, bend, or reach above shoulders. Lift up to 25-50 pounds occasionally. Frequent computer-based work requiring sitting, close vision, and focus adjustment. Occasional travel.
