Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift Food & GMP Manufacturing

  • 3 or more years of supervisory experience in a highly-regulated, quality-focused manufacturing or food production environment is required for this position
  • This is a 2nd shift position, with M-F hours from 1:30 PM - 11:30 PM and two Saturdays per month when needed
  • Salary is up to $75,000 based on experience
  • Time and a half is paid for all hours worked on Saturday plus bonus potential
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • No remote as this is a 100% onsite position
  • Full-time, permanent W-2 employee

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing production team, overseeing scheduling and daily work assignments.
  • Strategically plan and coordinate material flow and resources to optimize production efficiency and meet output targets
  • Champion a culture of excellence by upholding stringent quality standards and ensuring compliance with all food safety protocols
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance procedures, methods, and equipment effectiveness
  • Serve as a key liaison across departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
  • A high level of organizational and communication skills with the ability to motivate and direct a team
  • Experience working in a union environment and with conflict resolution is preferred
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A solid work history
  • A US citizen or Green Card holder
