• Plan and teach recreational activities and activities of daily living.
• Provide personal care and support community integration for adults with developmental disabilities.
• Transport clients locally (Waukesha/Brookfield and surrounding area).
• Complete and maintain accurate reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Receive paid classroom and on-the-job training; after training, become a CBRF certified DSP.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents; effective communication with customers, clients, and employees.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, percent).
• Reasoning ability to problem‑solve and follow instructions.
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and valid vehicle insurance.
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle for work purposes.
• Ability to respond to and de‑escalate behavior issues.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and make sound decisions.
• Flexibility to meet organizational needs.
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities.
• Physical demands: stand, walk, handle, reach, lift up to 50 pounds; may be exposed to outdoor weather conditions; moderate noise level.
