Denton Floyd Real Estate Group is growing! We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Asset Management Analyst to join our Asset Management team. This position will be responsible for contributing to the Asset Management team by monitoring property performance through analysis and reporting. The position will contribute to the development of property performance reports for internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities- Conduct financial analysis of multifamily assets, including detailed pro forma and Excel-based financial models.
- Gather, analyze, and interpret market data to identify trends, benchmark performance, and provide actionable insights at both the property and portfolio levels.
- Prepare investment committee materials, including financing, disposition, and asset performance recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, equity partners, lenders, and property management teams.
- Support valuation efforts and develop documentation and recommendations impacting investment returns and asset performance.
- Lead or assist in the disposition process, including broker coordination, due diligence, and closing activities.
- Track and report on sales transactions, leasing velocity, and new product deliveries within assigned markets.
- Partner with internal and external teams to implement process improvements that drive revenue growth, operational efficiency, and asset value.
- Evaluate rent structures, leasing strategies, and market positioning to optimize property performance.
- Assist in the preparation of annual business plans, including operating budgets, market assessments, tax forecasts, and hold/sell analyses.
- Analyze asset performance, proactively identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with consultants on real estate tax protests and other property-specific matters.
- Support portfolio-wide initiatives such as biannual valuations, cash needs assessments, and ad hoc reporting requests.
- Provide timely support to senior leaders through analysis, reporting, and presentation preparation.
- Participate in other duties and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, real estate or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in analytical role within real estate, asset management, accounting and/or finance.
- Experience with multifamily development assets is required.
- Experience with Yardi preferred.
- Experience with operating/income statements is required.
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong business writing skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, including experience querying data.
- Experience with financial analysis and modeling.
- Strong organizational, time management and project management skills to effectively track, report and manage multiple projects and priorities where meeting deadlines is critical.
- Self-starter and can work with limited direction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional presentation skills and public speaking ability.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of flexibility and to adapt to changing demands.
