Overview
Job Description - Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant-PRN-Urgent Care Sellersburg ) (1612135)
Responsibilities- Front desk and back office clinical duties include but not limited to: answering phones, scheduling appointments, pulling charts, prepping/scanning charts, and other general front desk duties.
- Clinical duties as a Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant, including venipuncture, injections, vital signs, taking patients to exam room, EKG, PFTs, and general lab procedures.
- Must be familiar with CLIA/OSHA regulations.
- EMR experience preferred.
- Busy urgent care facility requires some scheduling flexibility.
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills with all ages and a great attitude.
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Position type: PRN, Varied Shifts; CMA or MA.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Medical Assistant Degree/Certification in Medical Assisting.
- Previous physician office or similar experience preferred.
- May consider ER Tech experience in lieu of MA degree.
