Overview
Job Description - Medical Assistant-Charlestown ) (1611516). Medical Assistant-Charlestown ) - 1611516.
Responsibilities- Front and back office duties.
- Back office clinical duties include but are not limited to: physician assisting, venipuncture, injections, EKG, CLIA regulations, PFTs and general lab duties.
- Front office duties include: answering telephone, medical records filing and pulling charts, handling patient requests.
- Scheduling, pre-certifications and prior authorizations.
- Multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be familiar with CLIA/OSHA regulations.
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal skills with all ages.
Up to $3,000 Sign On Bonus.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- Medical Assistant degree/certification in the field of Medical Assisting.
- Previous physician office or similar experience preferred.
