Overview
Job Description - Catering Associate-16 hrs/wk ) (1611735). Clark Memorial.
Description:
Food service background is beneficial. Knowledge of different diets is helpful. Will be assisting patients with menus, preparing & delivering meal trays. Neat, clean appearance is required. Must be able to work well with others as a team in a fast-paced environment. Standing & walking 95% of the time, pushing meal carts to floors 50% of the time, interacting with patients, visitors & others.
Excellent guest relation skills are a must. Must have good communication skills and be able to read & write. Will work weekends.
- Assist patients with menus, prepare and deliver meal trays.
- Maintain neat and clean appearance; work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
- Stand and walk for about 95% of the shift; push meal carts to floors about 50% of the time.
- Interact with patients, visitors and others; provide excellent guest relations.
- Read, write and communicate effectively to support service delivery.
- Good reading, writing and comprehension skills.
- Excellent guest relation skills.
