Warehouse Associate – Ryder Supply Chain Solutions, Jeffersonville, IN.

Ryder is immediately hiring a permanent material handler in Jeffersonville, IN. This is a full‑time position with weekly pay at $18.79 per hour.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Six months of warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred
  • Ability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment (stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) with intermediate proficiency; powered truck certification required
  • Ability to operate manual and/or automated equipment (packaging line) – intermediate preferred
  • Battery and basic mechanical knowledge for equipment
  • Read/understand basic mathematics in English for safety, instructions, policies
  • Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Data entry in WMS computer systems
  • Work overtime as assigned
  • Professional relationship building at all levels of the organization
  • Team player and independent worker
  • Fast‑paced, self‑driven, multitask, organized
  • Detail oriented with strong follow‑up practices
Responsibilities
  • Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and complete accurate scanning
  • Assist dock employees with new procedures and secure facility at shift end
  • Investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping
  • Perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage
  • Follow location policies and procedures for material handling
  • Execute material moves with proper physical/logical transactions
  • Participate in workgroup and team activities for continuous improvement
  • Maintain housekeeping in assigned area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
