American Traveler is hiring an RN for a PACU position requiring 2 years of PACU experience and Epic proficiency.
Requirements- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of PACU RN experience required
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Work in the PACU/Pre Op unit of a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts scheduled 7:00 AM-7:30 PM, three days per week
- On-call responsibilities required one night per week and on weekends
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for a group of patients
- Provides patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
- Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and functions as a mentor/preceptor
- Participates in quality, safety, and service improvement efforts within a Practice Governance model
