American Traveler is hiring an RN
- Telemetry for a Med/Surg Tele unit requiring 2 years of acute inpatient experience and Epic proficiency.

• Work on a 24-bed Med/Surg Tele unit
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Mixed diagnoses with telemetry monitoring (RN reads tele, no titration)
• Uses IV/PCA pumps, wound vac, glucometer, and other med/surg equipment
• Skills include trach care, feeding tubes, CPAP, wound vac, and dialysis assessment
• Supported by a CRN, discharge nurse, and weekday pharmacists
• Day shift schedule: 6:45a-7:15p, three days per week, every other weekend
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical interventions
• Provides patient and family education specific to care, treatment, and discharge needs
• Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and may serve as a mentor or preceptor
• Participates in quality, safety, and service improvement efforts
• Complies with regulatory standards and organizational care models
