River Ridge Surgery Center is hiring a Full Time Operating Room Registered Nurse!

Welcome to River Ridge Surgery Suites!

River Ridge Surgical Suites, is seeking an experienced and motivated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our fast-paced outpatient surgical team.

At River Ridge Surgery Center the OR RN is responsible for providing safe, efficient, and high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy ambulatory surgery center environment. This position requires the ability to manage a high-volume surgical schedule, maintain efficient room turnover, anticipate the needs of the surgical team, and adapt quickly to changes throughout the surgical day.

The ideal candidate will have previous operating room experience with knowledge of orthopedic and hand surgery, strong clinical judgment, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in the state
  • BLS required
  • ACLS preferred
  • Previous Operating Room RN experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with orthopedic and hand surgery preferred.
  • Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, sterile technique, patient positioning, and perioperative nursing practices.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient surgical environment.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage multiple cases efficiently.
  • Strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly to changes.
  • Must be dependable, flexible, team-oriented, and willing to assist wherever needed to support efficient patient flow.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and excellent patient experience.
