American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

• 12-bed ICU unit
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for TTM/CRRT/IABP patients, 2:1 and 3:1 for stepdown patients
• Top diagnoses include respiratory, renal, and cardiac conditions
• Common medications administered include Propofol, Fentanyl, and vasopressors
• Uses equipment including NxStage CRRT, IABP, Artic Sun, and ECHO
• Day shift schedule, 645a-715p, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Every other weekend required per unit need
• Galaxy Blue scrubs required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient ICU RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Must be able to read telemetry, titrate medications, and manage ventilators

• Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized patient care plans
• Supervises licensed and non-licensed staff and serves as a mentor/preceptor
• Participates in daily rounds and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams
• CRN present on each shift for support
• Supportive team environment with a strong precepting culture
• Facilitates patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
• Engages in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
