Job Description:

The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance procedures, conducting inspections and tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement. Assist Quality Manager in developing colleagues, writing SOPs, and improving operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Conduct regular inspections and testing of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
    • Review and analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Monitor and ensure compliances for in-process setting and requirement.
    • Ensure outgoing products meet the specification requirements
    • ISO ownership. To ensure all documentation in-place.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop and implement process improvements aimed at enhancing product quality and efficiency.
    • Use quality improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implements corrective and preventive actions.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of quality assurance activities, including inspection reports, test results, and process changes.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports on quality performance, trends, and improvement initiatives.
    • Ensure that all quality-related documentation complies with industry regulations and standards.
  • Supplier Quality Management:
    • Evaluate and monitor the quality of materials and components provided by suppliers.
    • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
    • Ensure that products and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
