LOGISTICS CAPACITY MANAGER

Role Overview:
As a Logistics Capacity Manager, you’ll be the key link between available carrier capacity and our customers' transportation needs. You’ll build and maintain a reliable carrier network, negotiate competitive rates, and ensure timely delivery of goods across various modes of transport. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role ideal for problem-solvers, deal makers, and relationship-builders.

To be considered you must have:

· Your own established network of carriers

· Ability to secure capacity for loads

· Relationship building/Networking

· Wide network of logistics contacts and ability to cultivate new ones

· Extensive knowledge of the standards and practices of freight shipping

· Rate Negotiating

· Problem resolution

What We're Looking For:

1+ years in logistics, transportation, dispatching, or a similar fast-paced industry (preferred)

Strong communication and negotiation skills

High energy and a competitive spirit

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively

A team player mindset with an entrepreneurial drive

Familiarity with TMS systems a plus

· Great communication skills

· Follow through to customers and carriers on pickup and delivery

· Desire to succeed

· Excellent communications skills

· Attention to detail
