Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

The Learning Experience
- Jenison is hiring an experienced Toddler Lead Teacher to turn that natural curiosity into engaging learning experiences while providing the consistency and positive guidance young children need.

• Lead daily Toddler classroom activities and routines
• Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Engage children through sensory play, art, music, movement, stories, language, and hands-on exploration
• Encourage communication, independence, and positive social interactions
• Support diapering, toileting, meals, rest time, and transitions
• Use positive guidance and developmentally appropriate classroom management
• Observe and document children's developmental progress
• Guide and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
• Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom
• Follow Michigan licensing and center requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous professional childcare or early childhood classroom experience required
• Toddler classroom experience strongly preferred
• CDA, Early Childhood Education coursework, degree, or other qualifying credential preferred
• Must meet Michigan requirements to serve as a Lead Caregiver
• Patient, energetic, organized, and dependable
