Own the Night Shift. Keep the Line Moving.

Pro Services Workforce Solutions has partnered with a cellulose insulation manufacturer in Jenison, MI to hire a direct-hire Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the overnight team. This plant runs a single flow line with multiple variations—when one section stops, the whole process pauses. Your work keeps everything humming.

A Night in This Role
10:00 PM:
You arrive to a clean, well-stocked maintenance shop—tools are provided. You scan the CMMS, check the to-do list, and touch base with production. The line is dusty, not greasy, and you're ready for whatever comes.

Through the night: A conveyor idler squeals. You swap a bearing and tension a chain. A packaging unit shows an over-amp alert—using the HMI, you confirm status, then verify power flow, contacts, relays, and motor starters under LOTO. Later, a hydraulic hose on a packaging system (up to 1,300 PSI) seeps; you make a replacement hose, chase valve lights to the fault, pull a cylinder, and bleed the system during a planned stop.

Between calls, you grease, walk the lines, and chip away at CMMS work orders. If a job is bigger than one person, you call for backup—fast, clear communication keeps production in the loop.
6:00 AM:
The line is ready for handoff. You wrap up notes for the day crew and head out—most nights, you can brush the dust off and go straight home.
