Maintenance Technician

Rydal Park, a premier Life Plan Community located in Jenkintown, is hiring a Maintenance Tech 3 Full-Time to join our Rydal Park team!

Rates starting at $29 - $31 depending on experience

The Maintenance Technician III/ Lead Tech performs skilled work in the specialized and preventive care, repair, and maintenance of heating and air conditioning systems and building systems and equipment. This position may have lead/supervisory responsibilities.

• Performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment throughout the community
• Preparing vacant residential units for move-in by ensuring all systems are fully operational and meet quality standards
• Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Responding to service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Ensuring the maximum quality of life possible for all residents in alignment with the company’s mission, vision and core beliefs

• Must have HVAC Certification
• 5+ years of previous experience in building maintenance or construction, or any equivalent combination of training and experience
• 1+ years of supervisory or lead technician experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, with experience in both residential and commercial environments preferred
• Commercial and home appliance experience a plus!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current & valid Drivers’ License and driving record free of major infractions
• Availability that includes evenings and some weekends
