** What this role is all about:
** We are looking for a HTST Operator I in Jerome, .  The HTST Operator I is responsible for the preparation of raw milk to be used in cheese production.
* Pasteurize, standardize and condense milk in preparation for use in cheese production.
* Monitor raw milk flow into balance tank, through pasteurizing heaters, through separators to separate cream from the milk, to evaporators for condensing and then ultimately to horizontal cheese vats for use in cheese production.
* Regulate factors such as milk solids, cream fats, and temperature and make adjustments depending on the type of cheese to be produced.

*** High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
** Where you’ll be working:
** Our Jerome, , plant is home to approximately 400 employees and processes approximately 7 million pounds of milk per day. This facility produces various types of cheeses, such as; mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, muenster, parmesan, romano, Monterey jack, gouda, and asiago. They also run various whey streams, such as; deproteinized whey, sweet dairy whey, GMP, permeate, instantized, and our top-rated BiPro products.
* Agropur’s US operations produce approximately 1 billion pounds of quality, award winning cheese each year.  The US operations produce more than 20 different cheese varieties along with whey protein and dry ingredients.
