Relatively new to the U.S. market, the Mitsubishi Tanabe Pharma Group's innovative compounds have already achieved commercial success under our U.S. partners' brands. In our next phase, we plan to launch new compounds under our own MT Pharma America label. We are currently building a new commercial organization and expanding our functions to support this strategy.

The role involves transitioning developed leads to colleagues for finalization and maintaining a pipeline of new leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and leverage industry contacts to identify new business opportunities.
  • Utilize databases and recommend new resources for lead generation.
  • Present Mitsubishi Tanabe as a preferred partner convincingly.
  • Screen and evaluate new opportunities, collaborating with global teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional analyses supporting due diligence.
  • Support partnership negotiations.
  • Manage multiple projects at various stages, transitioning mature leads appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BA or BS in a scientific discipline related to pharmaceuticals; advanced degrees (Master's, PhD, MD) preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 5 years in business development or product evaluation.
  • Strong scientific background with R&D or project management experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of FDA-regulated clinical development.
  • Knowledge of unmet needs in clinical and commercial areas, especially CNS and movement disorders.
  • Existing industry network to develop leads.
  • Strong multitasking, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel primarily within North America.

Our Value Proposition:

Experience the entrepreneurial spirit of a biotech with the benefits of a global pharmaceutical company. We offer career opportunities and comprehensive benefits, including medical/dental insurance, 401K, paid time off, and more.
