Senior Credit Risk Business Analyst​/Project Manager

This team partners closely with business, risk, and technology stakeholders to improve processes, strengthen data-driven decision-making, and deliver technology solutions that support critical financial and risk-management functions. • Engagement: W2 only (no C2C/1099)
• Hybrid work environment based in Jersey City, New Jersey.
• Opportunity to work at the intersection of credit risk, business analysis, and technology delivery within a large financial-services environment.
• Exposure to senior business and technology stakeholders while helping deliver process and system improvements across risk-related functions.
• Contract engagement currently scheduled from October 14, 2026 through April 23, 2027

• Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, risk teams, and technology partners throughout project delivery.
• Lead requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process-analysis activities.
• Translate business objectives and credit-risk requirements into clear functional requirements and specifications for technical teams.
• Analyze existing workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system enhancement.
• Support projects throughout the SDLC, including requirements, development coordination, testing, implementation, training, and deployment.
• Manage communication, dependencies, priorities, and deliverables across business and technology stakeholders.
• Develop reports, dashboards, process documentation, and supporting materials used for project tracking and decision-making.
• Help ensure technology solutions align with business objectives, operational requirements, and risk-management needs.

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in senior business analysis, project delivery, or closely related technology roles.
• Strong experience gathering, documenting, and translating complex business requirements into functional specifications.
• Demonstrated experience with business process analysis, process mapping, and workflow improvement

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Experience partnering directly with both business users and technical development teams.
• Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, SQL, Excel, and Visio

• Strong stakeholder-management, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and communicate effectively across both technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Experience supporting credit risk or related financial-services risk functions is strongly relevant to the scope of this position.
• CBAP, PMI-PBA, or a comparable business-analysis certification is beneficial but not required.
