The starting hourly rate is $19.00 per hour with a pay range of $19.00 to $28.50 per hour.

ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On‑Demand Team Member (TM). Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. You will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members through the myTime mobile scheduling app that best fit your schedule. Reliable and prompt attendance is required.

You must pick up and work shifts at least once every four weeks (minimum of four hours). If you do not respond to contact attempts or do not work a shift within five months, your employment may be terminated.

All new On‑Demand TMs attend a welcome orientation and complete a short‑term structured training schedule. After training, your schedule is managed through the myTime mobile scheduling app.

Advocates of guest experience welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, and store cleanliness. They empower guests to shop quickly and easily by providing exceptional quality at the check‑lanes, guest services, gift registry, pick‑up and drive‑up. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.

  • Use tools, products, and services available in the store to improve the guest experience.

  • Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy.
  • Inform guests of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities, and events.
  • Explain Target Loyalty benefits and assist with sign‑ups as needed.
  • Teach guests how to use Wallet and other Target App features.
  • Attempt every return and partner with leaders as needed to solve for the guest.
  • De‑escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience following Target’s policies.
  • Deliver accurate service to all order pick‑up, drive‑up, and registry guests.
  • Maintain a clean, clutter‑free work area.
  • Stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest.
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
  • Support guest services such as order pick‑up, drive‑up, and returns; maintain compliance culture.
  • Support Cash Office processes as needed.
  • Perform other duties based on business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS
  • You enjoy interacting and helping guests and team members.
  • You thrive in a fast‑moving, physically demanding role with teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem‑solving.
  • You are open to a flexible work schedule with varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
