Overview
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Director of Oral Surgery for Jersey City Medical Center. This is a part-time position with benefits and potential for advancement within this division.
The position involves:
- Clinical oversight of the OMS section
- Didactic and clinical teaching and oversight of residents
- Active involvement in treating patients including those with traumatic injuries
- Provide leadership and clinical oversight for the Oral Surgery section
- Supervise and educate residents through didactic and clinical activities
- Engage in patient care, including handling traumatic injuries as appropriate
- Graduate of a CODA approved dental school
- Successfully completed a CODA approved Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency
- Board certified or an active candidate for board certification
- Possess or be eligible to obtain a New Jersey dental license
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Committed to the highest ethical and professional standards
The position is salaried and includes full benefits such as health, life, disability and malpractice insurance, 401k/retirement, and paid time off with additional time off for CME. There is also potential for advancement within the division.
