• Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, or college credits

• Teaching credential/certificate or 30‑Day Substitute Teaching Permit
• Previous experience in special‑education settings
• Bilingual and/or bilingual teaching experience

• Supervise and support students in classroom, playground, or cafeteria
• Foster a safe, respectful, inclusive learning environment; encourage engagement
• Manage classroom routines, behavior, and transitions following lesson plans left by the teacher
• Communicate clearly with school staff
• Leave brief notes or feedback for the returning teacher
