Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering

Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering s role is part of the TSG Mainframe Services team and is located in Jersey City, Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Mary, FL. • Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail with following policies and procedures
• Very sound technical DB2 Database Administration skills
• Collaborate with application developers to address a variety of technical database issues and questions
• Manage multiple priority requests from various enterprise application areas with attention to detail

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Advanced certifications in infrastructure engineering or related disciplines preferred
• Typically 6-10 years of experience
• Knowledge of DB2 mainframe environments supporting high availability, resiliency, performance tuning, and problem resolution
• Ability to use and manage Db2 DBA Utilities
• Proficiency in SQL tuning and performance problem determination and resolution
• Knowledge of Db2 Database Recovery scenarios
• Knowledge of vendor (BMC and Broadcom) SQL Performance and administration tools
