Tax Operations

Our client, a leading financial services firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Specialist to support year-end tax reporting, including 1099 and 1042-S processing. This contract-to-hire role offers hands-on experience in a sophisticated tax operations environment and a potential path to a permanent position.

What You’ll Do

• Support all phases of year-end tax reporting, including 1099 and 1042-S processing
• Process nonresident alien (NRA) tax adjustments for non-U.S. clients
• Help carry out the Year-End Tax Reporting Tactical Plan
• Support regulatory changes that require system and workflow enhancements
• Execute daily and monthly workflows and process tax adjustments
• Assist with tax product enhancements and process improvement initiatives
• Help develop and produce monthly management reports
• Support management in implementing and following policies, procedures, and controls

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) or equivalent work experience
• 1–3 years of experience in tax reporting, tax operations, or financial services operations preferred
• Familiarity with 1099 and/or 1042-S reporting is a strong plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
