The Market Risk Associate is responsible for the daily monitoring of market risk exposure presented by clients and for supporting systems initiatives.

• Research significant increases in margin requirements, track trading patterns of member firms, liquidity usage, etc.
• Understand clients’ business and risk profiles to serve as a point of contact for risk-related support and inquiries
• Identify and mitigate risk within your areas of responsibility and support risk mitigation across DTCC
• Assess and suggest improvements to existing processes to better anticipate, manage, and reduce risk
• Support the implementation of new margining methodologies and enhancements of existing ones
• Educate clients on FICC services and risk initiatives
• Maintain regulatory awareness and ensure compliance with risk-related policies and best practices
• Assist in preparing responses to audit and regulatory reports
• Support adherence to AML/BSA policies and procedures as per regulatory requirements
• Monitor and escalate risk issues as appropriate

Note: Responsibilities are not limited to those listed above.

• 2-5+ years of experience in margining, fixed income risk analysis, or product management within the financial services industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
