Glowbar seeks passionate, service‑oriented, collaborative estheticians who believe in a “customer‑first” mentality to join our founding team. Estheticians are empowered to use client‑oriented instincts to make decisions and contribute to a new standard for skincare.
Responsibilities (but are not limited to) Care for Your Clients- Provide a friendly, compassionate environment with deep product/protocol knowledge and honest advice
- Complete each Glowbar treatment in exactly 30 minutes
- Document client notes in Glowbar Admin during every treatment
- Ensure each client receives an extraordinary skincare treatment tailored to their individual needs and goals (including extractions, dermaplaning, LED light therapy, high frequency, etc.)
- Walk clients through the benefits of each step of the treatment
- Educate clients about products and provide at‑home routine suggestions
- Achieve (or exceed) monthly product sales targets through thoughtful education
- Provide feedback to management on progress, challenges, and suggestions
- Collaborate with fellow estheticians on best practices and opportunities to improve the client experience
- Complete the treatment room checklist after every shift to prepare the next esthetician
- Log inventory replenishment accurately and consistently
- Enhance and uphold standards, policies & procedures through various communication channels
- Participate in events onsite/offsite
- Valid (temporary or permanent) state Esthetics License
- 1+ year of experience as a licensed esthetician at a busy spa/salon with a proven track record of excellence
- Maintain an average of at least $1,000 in product sales per month
- Love hospitality and interacting with customers
- Flexible to work a non‑traditional schedule, including weekends, holidays, and some early morning/midday/late evening weekday availability
- Full‑time: 5 open days per week, including both weekend days
- Part‑time: 3 open days per week, including one weekend day
- Weekend only: open availability Saturday and Sunday every week
- Strong understanding of salon standards, policies and procedures
- Forward‑thinking problem solver with a strong work ethic and compassion for employees and clients
- Passion for beauty, skincare, learning, and trying new things everyday
- Established clientele a plus
- Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the shift
- Bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting up to 15 pounds
- Climbing stairs during shift operations
- Remaining mobile and on your feet for the full duration of your shift (shift lengths may vary)
- Exposure to varying temperatures and humidity levels, especially in laundry or supply areas
- Performing operational tasks such as restocking, organizing supplies, and light cleaning
- Required to work weekends, evenings, and holidays to support client demand
