Jalpa Sheth Nutrition & Wellness LLC is a growing, multi-location, nutrition private practice, seeking an RDN to join their growing team for Jersey City location. This is a part-time position. Ideal candidate will be a credentialed registered dietitian passionate about promoting health through nutrition, bilingual, social media savvy, tech savvy, understanding of cultural cuisines a plus!

Responsibilities will include but not limited to-

- Conduct nutritional assessments and re-assessments in private practice setting, provide nutrition education and counseling to the clients as well as develop individualized meal plans based on patients' needs, provide dietary counseling and education to patients on healthy eating habits, monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to meal plans as needed.

-Visit our partner facilities/outreach community programs that include adult medical daycare programs, substance abuse recovery homes, group homes - conduct on-site nutrition assessment and reassessment, maintain appropriate documentation to meet state standards, conduct group nutrition education and counseling, food service facility survey, in-service for food service staff.

-Helping with corporate wellness programs - from crafting solutions to conducting webinars, challenges and/or other programs.

-Managing company's social media accounts and creating nutrition related content for Blog and social media.

-Create nutritional educational materials/handouts for the company.

-Lead and support new initiatives/projects in the company pertaining to nutrition education.

Qualifications & Credentials

- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field;
Master's degree preferred

- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification required. CDN, LDN (for FL) and any other further certification appreciated.

Other Requirements

-Social media savvy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient counseling

-Proficiency in computer applications is a must.

- Experience in conducting patient assessments and developing nutrition plans appreciated

-Must be good at time management and being able to work independently.

-Must have valid driver's license
