Bilingual Behavioral Assistant (Hudson County)
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities in New Jersey. We are looking for Part‑Time Bilingual Behavioral Assistants (BAs) to join our team.
Pay$20.00/hr – $25.00/hr

- Visit clients at home or in the community to provide relief to caregivers and holistic support to youth.
- Work 2–20 hours weekly in 2–4 hour shifts, typically after 3:00 pm during the school year and as early as 8:30 am in summer; services available any day of the week.
- Develop and implement Individual Support Plans.
- Deliver and monitor behavior analysis services.
- Submit weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours of service provision.
- Collect and display data (e.g., graphics) as authorized by the behavioral analysis service plan.
- Ensure compliance with service authorization, including time frames and service hours.
- Implement interventions in the Individual Support Plan.
- Apply behavioral procedures to acquire replacement skills and reduce problematic behaviors.
- Facilitate environmental arrangements.
- Use proactive strategies.
- Teach and develop new skills.
- Manage consequences for behavior based on function.
- Work to increase ADL (Assisted Daily Living) skills with children/youth in home and community settings.
- Assist parent/guardian in implementing the treatment plan.
- Assist the behavior analyst in training caregivers and/or staff.
- Prevent, recognize, and intervene in crises.
- Ensure all agency policies are implemented and followed.

- Knowledge of behavioral interventions.
- Completed CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification course or ability to complete within 6 months of hire.
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or related field.
- 2–4 years experience in behavioral healthcare (maladaptive behaviors).
- 2–4 years experience working with children with disabilities (developmental/intellectual disabilities, mental illness).
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
- Consent to and passing of State/Federal criminal background checks.
- Bilingual proficiency.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship; we do not sponsor H‑1B or other employment visas at this time.
