Job Description
The primary objective is to meet bank wide data informational and reporting needs in a timely manner. Manage the on-going collection of key data accuracy and integrity information from a variety of sources and test its accuracy. Generate graphs and basic trend analysis from the data for all credit originating business units demonstrating actual performance including comparison to established bank wide error thresholds where appropriate.
Support the development of data integrity reporting tools, including a central repository for collection of data accuracy & integrity data. Requires a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, Business Objects queries, SAS & Oracle databases, the Loan Accounting and Origination Systems across the bank, and the data warehousing and staging structures in the IT environment. Must have good interpersonal skills, be team focused, and well-organized, as at times deadlines are tight.
Major Responsibilities:
40% Data Reporting - Data Bases
Reporting to the Director of Data Management, responsible for managing and maintaining reporting data bases/tools for gathering both data accuracy & integrity reporting information and summarizing into standardized monthly reports. Reviews reports and ensures the data for consistency, completeness, conformity duplication, integrity and accuracy with follow-up on any data irregularities.
20% Development/Maintenance of Data Collection Tools & Processes
Maintain and update as necessary the current data collection methods generally using Business Objects, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint files. Act as a liaison between the department and systems personnel to recommend enhancements to existing data processes or data fields. Implement new data collection processes for the group as needed.
30% Monthly Reporting
Prepare data, graphical, and trend analysis for monthly and quarterly presentation and reporting. This includes some written analysis of changes between reporting periods and the results of your investigations on data irregularities.
10% Compliance with Bank Policies
Ensure data received or created are effectively controlled and maintained in accordance with Bank policies. Control and dispose of sensitive data and confidential information in accordance with the Corporate Code of Conduct policies.

Qualifications
Proficient in designing and developing spreadsheets, databases, and graphs and a working knowledge of statistical analysis tools. Comprehensive knowledge of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Business Objects, Crystal Reports and SAS & Oracle data bases to query and manipulate data.
Requires knowledge of the banking industry products and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with loan accounting requirements desirable.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and under deadlines. Has ability to prioritize and flex with pressures created by a production environment.
Typically has 5 to 10 years of similar data gathering and report development in a financial institution. Requires a 4-year degree preferably with a business major.
