We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer - Advanced

• 10+ experience with DB2 and/or IMS performance tuning involving buffer pools, storage groups, coupling facility structures, SQL, REORGs, ZPARMs and image copies
• Understanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophies
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
• Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
• Experience on IBM Replication tools: IMS/IMS Replication, IMS KAFKA Replication QREP /CDC, IBM Program Product installation experience – SMP/e (Software Management Program/ extended)

As an Infrastructure Engineer—Advanced, your responsibilities will include:

• Advanced understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design, performance and monitoring, best practices and policies
• Advanced knowledge in the following key areas:
• Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)
• Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)
• Design (compliance, security)
• Network Engineering (planning, provision)
• Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology
• Advanced understanding of best practices and policies
• Demonstrated ability to conceptualize, launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget
• Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
• Must be able to assemble technology solutions and effectively define and implement a working architecture
• Technical certifications as required

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $68/hr

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
