We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead building and deploying machine learning solutions that power personalization and create measurable business impact. This visible, cross‑functional position works closely with product managers, ML engineers, and commercial stakeholders to transform raw data into actionable insights and scalable models. You’ll use cutting‑edge tools to segment users, predict behaviors, and optimize experiences across the customer journey.

As a Senior Data Scientist, you’ll design and deliver advanced analytics projects from exploration and modeling through deployment and measurement of impact. You’ll make technical decisions, lead collaborative problem‑solving sessions, and mentor other data scientists while raising overall technical rigor in the team. This role thrives in a fast‑moving environment and motivates by seeing models drive real‑world outcomes.

• Develop and deploy machine learning models to drive personalized recommendations and user experiences across business units
• Perform analysis on large and complex data sets utilizing SQL, Python, Spark, and provide strategic contributions
• Use statistical and machine learning techniques to segment users and predict future behaviors, developing automated logic and decision algorithms to deliver a better experience to the customer
• Lead projects from start to finish, set proper expectations, and collaborate with other data scientists, ML engineers, and product managers to communicate technical findings and support data‑driven decision making
• Oversee integration and deployment of cross‑functional and cross‑organizational projects, developing process improvements and technical leadership
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in data science and leverage cutting‑edge technology
• Mentor, brainstorm with, and enable others within the DS team and broader Data organization

• Bachelor's degree in a highly numerate major (Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, etc.) or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science, creating and deploying models
• Strong expertise in ML modeling, predictive analytics, segmentation, and recommender systems
• Hands‑on experience working in customer personalization and a strong understanding of the technical elements required to build and maintain advanced models
• Experience in experimentation to validate models' impact and quantify that impact

• Experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Snowflake, and ML infrastructure tools like MLflow and Sage Maker
• Experience with statistical modeling, A/B testing, and customer segmentation techniques
• Experience implementing and overseeing ML platforms and building unified data products across multiple domains
• Familiarity with online gaming platforms, trading systems, and marketing technologies
• Can write production‑level code and understand programming principles

• Excellent communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies for stakeholders at all levels

The annual salary range for this position is $118000 to $155000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance‑based bonus plan.
